Presenters:

Laura Aryeetey has been with the Omaha Human Rights and Relations Department (HR&R) for five years and currently works as the Senior Investigator in the Enforcement Division. She has nine years of experience as an Investigator, previously working at the Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission, as well as a background in human services and a master's degree in social work. Laura is a native Nebraskan and enjoys calling Omaha home.

Christian Espinosa Torres has been part of the Omaha community for over 16 years, working across diverse fields, from civic engagement to economic development. His dedication transcends city boundaries; in his prior role as a Constituent Services Representative for Congressman Ashford, he helped the District 2 community navigate federal agency interactions while championing the interests of small businesses.

Cailin Dejillas is the Director of HR&R. Trained as an attorney, Cailin’s experience as a public defender, investigating and leading teams to investigate housing providers and employers, and leading multiple teams in Disability and Leave Services at Amazon inform her approach. She emphasizes connecting across the community to increase awareness of rights, responsibilities and HR&R services.
